House C+J

house // Paris 20th (75020)

The building slips discreetly into the fabric of old Paris in the Ménilmontant district, unfolding vertically over six small 38 m² floors. From the garden level with its courtyard and swimming pool, one climbs up to the rooftops and a wide view over the city.

The building process involved a continuous and attentive dialogue with the clients, in order to respect and support their vision of their living space as closely as possible.

Simple, natural materials: self-insulating Wienerberger fired-clay brick + external cork insulation, internal Multipor insulation, lime renders, zinc, timber and steel for the terraces.

Natural, durable materials chosen for comfort in summer as in winter: fired-clay brick, cork and lime renders.
