House HN
extension & raised storey // Bures-sur-Yvette (91440)
The need to open the living space towards a “back” garden gave rise to this house extension.
It thus takes the form of a two-storey winter garden, housing a living room and study that are completely permeable to light and to the surrounding greenery.
A timber deck and a planted area were created to offer more possibilities for this new relationship between inside and outside.
The construction system is simple (monowall + timber roof structure), and the materials entirely natural.
